#1 Keep Spiders Away

You can also put up an alternate brighter light in the area to draw bugs away from the camera.

Although outdoor security cameras are made to withstand the elements, extreme weather can compromise their ability to work properly. An enclosure around the camera that protects it from direct contact with all the rain, wind, and snow can also help protect it from extreme temperatures. Just make sure that the location of the housing around the camera does not block the functionality of the camera.
